The Universe of Aeolus

Welcome to the amazing Universe of Aeolus, a story I have been creating that takes place in an extreme Steampunk environment. The name Aeolus, which is the Greek god of steam, seems like the perfect match to this project, but I'm still uncertain to keep it as it is hard to pronounce. For now, it is just used as a title to the project, But will most certainly change as we go along building the story.

I have always had a rough plan of the universe of Aeolus, but only recently have I decided to write it down and make it real. My brother is the one that has encouraged me to develop this universe. I have also used fan art from the steampunk community to motivate me In making this project.

A big influence to the creation of this universe has been the french writer Emile Zola. Not only are his books placed in the perfect time period (Victorian, Industrial Revolution, Capitalism etc.)But also his way of writing (Naturalism) he would do research and build his entire story up to the tiniest details, everything was planned, without any missing information.

I decided to do the same thing in the way that I would build everything from the Galaxy down to the characters clothes. This would help me to immerse myself into the story, Everything would already be built, all the cities, the history, the culture, the economy, all that would be left for me to do is to create the story.

In the next posts, I will be talking about the galaxy in which Aeolus takes place, also its solar system and other small details. In the following posts, the information will be told in two points of views. The first will be from the narrator (Me) an omniscient point of view, which will be written in the same font as I am using now, and the second will be from a character part of the story (In the Universe of Aeolus) an internal point of view, which will be written as the following:

"Here will be written the internal point of view

(Italic, Bold and Centered)"
